At 29 seconds there is a terrific shot of Grace Goodhue Coolidge, a member of the Vermont Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi, and Lou Henry Hoover, a member of the Stanford University Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I like to think they are mentioning this shared connection as they chat.
The view of the White House reminds me that it was 88 years ago that 1,300 Pi Beta Phi sisters visited the White House to honor one of their own.

I think I recall reading that Mrs. Hoover was an alum initiate of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I’m not sure when she was initiated so I’m unsure if Mrs. Hoover was a KKG prior to entering the White House. But it’s still interesting footage, and I believe these were the last two fraternity women to be First Ladies until Laura Bush.
